Today was the day that 5 Girls Scouts from Huntington Beach received their hard-fought Silver Award, among others from three other cities. Mayor Lyn Semeta, a Girl Scout herself, presented accommodations to the girls.

To clothe over 150 school kids is no small deal. But Assistance League has their Operation School Bell program pretty well organized, with support from City administration, Mayor, Mayor-Pro-Tem and Councilmembers - all coming together to make sure those that are disadvantage in our community have the chance to look great for school! Target picked up the tax and donated the bags, too!
