The Friends of the Children’s Library (FOTCL) produce this one of a kind event where notable children’s authors visit area public and private school and return in the day the Central Library for more reading, autographs and fun. Many children in age categories also compete thru a writing and illustration contest, which is supported financially by the employees of the Boeing Corporation. On hand were the Mayor and Miss Huntington beach, Claire Epting.
