Transportation

Transportation is responsible for providing a safe and efficient transportation system that supports a balanced use of vehicular, pedestrian, transit and bicycle activity while servicing the residential, commercial and industrial needs of the community.  This includes oversight of the design and maintenance of all traffic control devices and pole lighting on City property, sign, marking, signal, and lighting maintenance, traffic signal operation, lighting, and the bus shelter program. 


Did you know?


The Huntington Beach Fire Department conducts free home fire safety inspections for seniors.  You can also get a free smoke detector with a 10 year battery and carbon monoxide detector installed.  This free service is provided by Project SHIP senior home inspection program volunteers. You can schedule an appointment online or call 714-374-1615.
