Federal, state, and local laws, including Huntington Beach’s Municipal Code prohibit the dumping or discharge of pollutants, including non-stormwater runoff to the storm drain system. City staff actively investigate reports of stormwater pollution. Be part of the solution to stormwater pollution and help keep our channels, creeks and ocean clean. Residents and businesses are encouraged to report incidents of pollutions through the City’s online reporting tool.
To report pollution, please submit an online Service Request under the Storm Drain Non-Emergency option.
You may also report spills, discharges, pollution by calling (714) 960-8861 Monday – Friday (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Please note the location of the complaint and brief description and a member of our Stormwater Quality team will investigate the spill/discharge. Both options allow you to request service updates or to report anonymously.
