State Law and the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance establish the Subdivision Committee. Its membership consists of three Planning Commissioners and a representative from the Fire, Public Works, and Planning Departments.
The Subdivision Committee reviews each tentative map for compliance with the Subdivision Map Act as well as City standards and policies. The Committee is advisory to the Zoning Administrator, Planning Commission and City Council, and conducts its review prior to final action by the decision-making body. Meetings are held on an as-needed basis. Agendas are available to the public one week prior to the meeting.
