Each concert will feature a different band with different sounds. Wear your dancing shoes! A Huntington Beach tradition for years and years, continues thanks to the generous financial support from the community at past year's concerts, and donations throughout the year. The Huntington Beach Concert Band will feature two events on July 11 and September 5, 2021. The modified 2021 schedule is due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and limitations imposed on outdoor events. The July 11 event is titled "Celebrate America". The concert will feature a program of patriotic and American favorites, music by American composers and arrangers. The September 5 concert is called "Movie Music Plus". This event will have music from famous movies by film composers Williams, Morricone, Bernstein and more. Plus a few extra fun surprises! One of the oldest and largest community bands in Orange County, the Huntington Beach Concert Band is celebrating its 48th year. The all-volunteer band is composed of professional and amateur musicians from around the region. The band has performed at venues throughout Southern California, including the Richard M. Nixon Library, Temecula Wine & Music Festival, Poway Community Band Festival, Santa Barbara Music Festival and Verizon Amphitheater, where for over 20 years band members joined the Pacific Symphony for the finale of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
