Please note that the City of Huntington Beach will be transitioning to a new permitting and application system for development services. The current eProcess Portal will close for new applications, resubmittals, and revisions on February 9, 2021. All electronic application processing will pause after February 9th at 5:00 PM, until we open our new electronic submittal site (Accela’s HB ACA) on February 16, 2021. Please plan your submittals in advance to avoid project delays. Instructions for setting up an account and submitting projects online through HB ACA will be posted to our website by February 10, 2021. Electronic Plans and Document Submittal
The City of Huntington Beach offers Electronic Plan Submittals. Electronic Plan Submittals allow applicants to submit plans and documents electronically as an alternative to submitting paper documents. Documents such as application forms, drawings, exhibits, and various reports can now be submitted electronically.

Temporary Emergency Use Permits
The City of Huntington Beach would like to ensure businesses have the ability to operate safely and successfully during the Covid-19 pandemic. The City is allowing flexibility in parking and other standards to permit businesses to operate outdoors on a temporary basis.
