The Community Development Department, including plan check and permit submittal via email, the e-portal, and City Hall drop-off bins, will be closed for the holidays starting Thursday, December 24, 2020 through Sunday, January 3, 2021. We will resume online submittal and drop off services starting Monday, January 4, 2021. For the best possible service, please consider submitting your plans and permits at least 10 days prior to the holiday closure or on January 4, 2021 when we resume service.
Payments will not be processed during the holiday closure. To avoid payment posting delays, please wait until January 4, 2021 to make any payments you did not make before the holiday closure.
Inspections services will be provided on a very limited availability during the holiday closure. Inspection requests will not be accepted during the holiday closure and must be scheduled prior to December 24th. Please plan accordingly and submit any inspection requests in advance.
To ensure the continued health and well-being of our customers and our employees, City Hall is closed to the public effective Monday, July 20th and until further notice. City staff will be available via telephone at (714) 536-5271 and email at [email protected]. Community Development services will continue to be offered remotely. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we strive to deliver great service while protecting the health of our customers, our staff, and the general public. Although we will work to be as responsive as possible during this transition, please allow additional time for plan review, permit issuance and other Community Development Services.
