Beautification, Landscape, and Tree Committee - DISBANDED

Purpose

The Beautification, Landscape, and Tree ("BLT") Committee focuses on creating a more beautiful city through enhanced landscaping elements, achievement of, and, on-going qualification as a "Tree City, USA", long-range planning by establishing a comprehensive Tree Management Plan, and increased enforcement of Conditional Use Permits (CUPs) and City codes.

Background

The Beautification, Landscape, and Tree Committee evolved from a desire of the City Council to have a more comprehensive focus and create a more beautiful city.

Current members are Council Members Rhonda Bolton, Barbara Delgleize, and Natalie Moser, as well as our Director of Public Works, Sean Crumby and Maintenance Operations Manager, Denny Bacon.

Meeting Times and Dates

The BLT Committee holds regular monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:30 PM in the Public Works Conference Room at the Civic Center located at 2000 Main Street, First Floor.  All meetings are open to the public and special meetings may be called in conformance with the Ralph M. Brown Act.

The public is encouraged to come and participate with comments up to 3 minutes in length after the agenda items have been covered.
