This Committee's responsibilities are twofold. First, the Committee has the responsibility to analyze new playground equipment alternatives in terms of the type of equipment, placement and the material utilized in construction and to deal with comments and concerns from the community in the problem areas of animals, vandalism and the appropriateness of certain types of play equipment. Secondly, the Committee may analyze park maintenance procedures and recommend ways and means of funding and keeping maintenance costs low. In carrying out these criteria, the Committee endeavors to be aware of and responsive to citizens' input.
