The draft General Plan Update (GPU) and draft Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is currently available for a 45-day public review and comment period through July 7, 2017.
Comments should be provided in writing to Jennifer Villasenor, City of Huntington Beach Community Development Department, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92648 or via email at [email protected]. The Planning Commission will also hold a series of study sessions in June and July to discuss the draft General Plan Update and EIR prior to the Public Hearings in August/September.
The draft GPU, EIR and all project documents that have been prepared to date including technical reports, meeting agendas, and presentations are available on the General Plan Update website. About the General Plan
The City of Huntington Beach General Plan Update establishes an overall development capacity for the City and serves as a policy guide for determining the appropriate physical development and character of Huntington Beach over an approximate 25-year planning horizon (to 2040).
