SCH Opening & Concourse de Elegance

Huntington's Central Park was filled with over 200 different categories of cars, from a Model T to the newest Toyota. This popular two-day event helps to raise monies for the HB Children's Library, and was visited by HB's Wheeler Dealer himself, Mike Brewer and Miss Huntington Beach, Jena Ferris.

Duck A Thon

25 years now the ducks have been fallin' off the HB Pier, and many have been receiving health care services who simply couldn't afford healthcare before, as dollars raised from the selling of more than 3,000 ducks best represents, first through the HB Community Clinic and now most recently, Altamed.

First Ever Fire House Dinner at Heil Fire Station

Many times the HBFD and its Association auction off for charity a complete dinner; created, made and served by actual fire fighter-paramedics inside their particular fire house. This is one of those times for the first-ever Fire House Dinner at the HBFD Heil Station! However, members of the Assistance League, Huntington Beach, were in for a surprise when they arrived as guests only to discover the guys gone on a call.

Fishing Hole Derby at Carr Park

Special education kids from area schools were treated to a day of fishing at famed Carr Park. The City of Huntington Beach Community Services, Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach and California's Fish & Game hosted the kids, teachers and family members, complete with a Kiwanis lunch, Ukulele music, awards and plenty of HB sunshine!

Operation Surf

The positive therapeutic benefits of the ocean is legendary and Operation Surf thru Amazing Surf Adventures knows this truth and applies a week of teaching wounded and war torn veterans how to surf in Huntington Beach, transformational at its finest.

HB Youth Shelter's 11th Anniversary

A nice get together on the grounds of the Youth Shelter so that a Thank YOU can be shared toward the many people recognized by the Mayor of Huntington Beach and Elsa Greenfield, Executive Director of CSP's Youth Shelter, for another year of great Youth Shelter support.

HB Fourth of July Parade and Festivities

Those ugly utility boxes their days are numbered in Huntington Beach! With the creation of the Huntington Beach Public Art Alliance, a competition was fostered with local HBHS art students to come up with 10 winning designs so that utility boxes could be wrapped and never be ignored ever again! The first one was held on the HB Pier, complete with an unveiling ceremony with City, County and State recognitions.
