The Summer Reading Program produced by the Friends of the Children’s Library kicked off in high gear. Families signed up to read books throughout the period. The Library stressed the importance for Online access, amid a backdrop of entertainment, games and BBQ.

Based in Huntington Beach, the Premiere Girls Fastpitch held two days of rallies in Central Park. Teams from all over the country came to HB to compete for the national championship in over 5 categories.
