Mainly many questions from library patrons were answered from the company, OverDrive, who supplies The HB Central Library with the software and interface so that checking in, checking out and surfing titles at home or on mobile devices are done with ease.

The series of events of 911 are still vivid memories for many, and for the Huntington Beach Police Officer’s Association as well as our Fire Fighters Association – it’s a personal one, with roots that go back to December of 2001. This fundraising activity at the Hyatt Regency Resort, leads the effort to build a memorial at City Hall. 911 family survivors, elected officials, sponsors and community fundraising volunteers came together February 10 for a somber, poignant and fun evening of reflection and action
