Joe Shaw
Council Member

Joe Shaw has a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Cal State LA. He has guided award-winning communications for several Southern California non-profit organizations including the Braille Institute and the AIDS Service Center in Pasadena. He is the former owner of a downtown Huntington Beach retail store, a former Huntington Beach Planning Commissioner, a former Public Works Commissioner and Charter Review Commissioner. He is a board member of the Bolsa Chica Land Trust and a docent at Shipley Nature Center. He is currently a partner in a public affairs consulting firm.
