The Bunco Forgery Unit investigates crimes that involve:

• Major Fraud
• Forgery
• Financial Elder Abuse
• Thefts by Credit Card/Check
• Counterfeiting

Non-Sufficient Fund (NSF) check investigations are completed by two civilian check investigators assigned to the Bunco Forgery Unit.

The Bunco Forgery Unit also includes the High Tech Crime Unit.  The High Tech Crime Unit completes computer forensics examinations in the assistance of other investigations.  The High Tech Crime Unit consists of one full time police detective and one full time civilian forensic systems specialist.  They are also responsible for investigations of high tech crimes.
