The Library Board of Trustees is a seven member board that meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the Central Library Conference Room at 5:00 p.m. The Board makes recommendations to the City Council on matters related to the City's libraries and library services. Information about the Board and its history, meeting minutes and agendas are available on the City's Boards and Commissions webpage. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please submit an application from either Central Library (714) 960-8836 or City Council (714) 536-5553.

Sidney Kuperberg Term: 7/1/03 – 6/30/07 & 7/1/07 – 6/30/11 (Last Term) Sidney Kuperberg is presently serving his second 4 year appointment to the Library Board of Trustees. An undergraduate of UCLA as well as graduate of UCLA Law School, he retired in 1992 from the Northrop Corporation where he served as Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to service with Northrop, he spent 20 years from 1953-1973 as a Judge Advocate (JAG) with the USAF. Mr. Kuperberg has also served on the HB Human Relations Task Force and the HB Cultural Affairs Task Force. |
